Hiya Drooly, yeah, he really is a total character, so much fun. And may God Bless his appetite!
Hey Chris!! Bitty is the English (as in England, English) slang for bm... Have you seen "Little Britain"??
No, Mala is not a relative. She's someone who used to come home twice a week in the first couple of months to give the bubbs and me an Indian massage. She then bathed the bubbs on her legs (see pics) in a style that DH describes as being nothing short of barbaric hahahaha. Apparently this is the traditional way they bathe babies in India, but neither of our families have done this before!! Anyway, the bubs hates it, squirms and looks most dejected half the time. He only enjoys it when loads of warm water is poured over him hahahahaha.
Yes he's a nice sized kid (touch wood); at two months he started fitting in all his 3-6 month outfits. I'm having quite a lot of fun with the tons of clothes I have for him, all given by kindly friends!

Hiya Rev, you ;D
Babies are very alert for the first couple of hours after they're born and can see about a foot or so clearly from birth. Our bubs was no exception. His eyes were wide open and looking everywhere, and he's been pretty alert ever since. I think he recognised his father's voice cause he gave him a huge smile from the nursery after they'd settled him.
He's been "talking" for a while now and its a real delight to yak with him.
