I'm hosting it on my own machine. I would be glad to put any chanel you would like to see as long as it's on basic cable.

First you need a TV card in your machine then get windows media encoder to stream the content from your TV card, then others can view the content with your IP# and port, or you can put a page up like I did with a server hosted on your machine and imbed the player into it. You can find the server software by searching for apache2triad in google and the windows encoder is free at MS.

Netjams, you're amazingly geeky! (a compliment, lol)

What type of system requirements are needed for all of that?

I think there are a few other freebie and open source servers that can be downloaded.

Me, I'm waiting for my phone, ISP and basic cable to be delivered by one company at around $100/month. Gotten circulars at that price, but it's just for the first 6 months. Then they really stick it to ya.

The phone service is internet-based, of course. But I believe you can get just i-phone from Vonage for a flat $25/month.

Now if they could just manage to include a hot breakfast every morn in the package deals I might go for it!

It runs well on just about any PC 400 hz and up.

The real key is to have a high speed connection 256k and up.

Yes there are many but they are not always easy and security is a big issue too. This package is suited to host a large website if you want too and it self installs flawlessly with total security and support for all the common inturpitors like pearl and php.
