|
|
Early on in the Iraq war, American smart bombs
targeted and destroyed a large milk and cheese
production plant. Pentagon warriors claimied that
it was producing weapons of mass destruction. That's
one analysis that has me agreeing with military
intelligence, an oxymoron if ever there was one.
The one good news coming from Iraq is that kids
are not drinking milk. With the destruction of
that dairy factory, a solution was found for
the rotting millions of pounds of milk powder
stored in caves in America. Instead of disposing
inventory long past its expiration date, tons of
milk powder was shipped in the name of humanitarian
aid to the boys and girls and moms and dads who
America bombs in Iraq. American farmers benefitted.
They could overproduce milk again to be purchased as
additional subsidy payments and stored in those same
caves. American taxpayers pay $20 million per year
renting those private underground warehouses. See:
<health.groups.yahoo.com/g...ssage/965>
The United States Department of Agriculture has purchased
over $1 billion in worthless defatted milk power, then has
donated the milk protein to Iraquis in 50 and 100 kilogram
bags, but that product continues to be be stolen and
smuggled across the border to Iran for sale at low prices.
Because the powder is so plentifully flooding their
market, milk producers in Iran have been shutting down
their own production. What happens to milk is just one
bit of evidence of corruption and poor policy in the
Middle East. If real life imitates fiction, read
"Catch 22" or see the movie and learn how easily wars
provide fortunes for those who first warehouse, then
deal and steal such free commodities.
What is the overall solution for Iraq?
President Cheney has no clue. Neither does
wannabe President Kerry. Mr. Bush? A nice guy,
but equally clueless. One thing is for certain.
Placing our own stamp of democracy upon people
who are poised to fight a revolution has no
chance of succeeding in Iraq.
Iraq will soon become Iran. Insurgents from Iran
and Egypt and Saudi Arabia and Libya will insure
that the revolution will take place. Did we not
witness the same events in Iran when the Shah
was deposed? History will most certainly repeat
itself, but not before the Haliburtons of
America are awarded contracts to rebuild the
infrastructure of an ungrateful people. Then,
and only then, will America's investment in
Middle East stability be completely sacrificed
for nil.
One thing America does not understand is fundamentalism.
In our nation, we defend the separation of church and
state, and rightly so. In Iraq, Saddam was the most
abusive of dictators, but if anything, ran a nation
in a more western-style than the rest of the Middle
East. Howver, Iraq's future is one in which church and
state are merged into one. That cannot possibly be
changed. Such an eventuality has become a part of the
psyche of the people. Such will be the nature of an Islamic
society in Iraq. Iraq is neither a colony nor commonwealth
of the USA, and once the opportunity presents itself,
there will be a rapid and violent overthrow of our misplaced
government. Does anybody doubt this? More heads will topple
than we have already witnessed on Aljazeera.com telecasts.
What to do? Immediately withdraw. Let no more dollars
and no more American lives be wasted supporting
the inevitable. Only the ignorant lack the knowledge
of what is to be Iraq's final solution.
I have previously written that I do not intend to vote
in this year's presidential election. Kerry is a poor
choice, and Bush has been horrible for America. Neither
man represents me, and neither man has earned my vote.
Will my vote be counted? Absolutely, because the numbers
will not add up. That is the message I intend to send.
I invite all of you to be witness to the most unreal
action of any man in the history of the presidency.
This week, "Fahrenheit 911" will be available for sale
or rental from your local video store. I've seen the
movie, and agree that much of it is presented in a
biased manner. However, there is something that cannot
be tolerated. George Bush finds himself in front of a
classroom as a teacher reads a book to primary school
children. He sits in a chair, appearing clueless after
being told that a plane has hit the World Trade Center.
Soon, an aide whispers in his ear, informing Bush that
a second plane has hit the second World Trade Center
tower. Bush has been told that "America is under attack."
He just sits there looking dumb-founded.
You will experience a myriad of emotions as you watch
George Bush just resting. His eyes hide any feeling.
You can see on his face that he has no clue what to do.
Like a deer caught in the headlights of a speeding
40-foot tractor trailer truck, Mr. Bush acts totally
lost. You will imagine him thinking, "Where is Cheney?
What should I do?" With nobody to tell him what to do,
he sits there for many minutes while America is under
attack. You will feel like crying.
Without any doubt, Mr. Kerry would have been more
decisive. Without any doubt, Pee Wee Herman would have
been more decisive. Tweety Bird would have been more
decisive. The scene is uncut and unbelievable. If you
have not yet seen it, please make it your business
to do so. You might then end up voting my way.

There are many kinds of "milking". One could also conclude that there are those who would "milk" the Iraq war for as much discouragement, anger, frusteration, cynicism, and ammunition against those that they dislike, as they can.
