A German restaurant is selling pizzas with a topping

that includes 22-carat gold. The Petit Delice restaurant

in Hamburg, Germany, charges £20 for a small slice

of the pizza. Chef Ernst-Wilhelm Klevinghaus says it also

features creme fraiche and pate and is "pizza fit for a king".

He added: "Some people are worried that the gold will

make you ill but it is perfectly harmless and doesn't taste

of anything."

god, I can hardly say that with a straight face..

ehem...well, If everything goes as planned I'll be there for 3 weeks..

the last week of June and the first two of July..maybe a bit longer...

My Wife and my kids really want to come with!!...but it's uncertain still whether that will work out..

I actually will have a car in Germany I can use...

but I would rather take the trains if I go touring about...And driving in Munich is just silly because I spend most of the time trying to find a place to park, I'm on a mission to figure out the train system this time!!

(and to learn enough German at least ask directions..LOL!!)

I have a friend in Zell that I'll probably drive up to visit..but other than that I'm sticking to walking and taking the trains.

Funny, the bro and I had Domino's deliver pizza tonight. No gold among their available toppings, though.

So how's your German? I was pretty good at German at school but forgot it all till I went to Germany last year. Now I'm studying a CD course - by the time I get back to Germany I'll be brushed up on all the basic stuff.

OK.....

Firstly, I'd open a bottle of champagne.

Starter:

Hmm.....I'm thinking...maybe a prawn cocktail....nice n light,.....and very tangy.

(followed by some meaningful conversation)

Main Course:

Hmmm....I do favour pasta dishes.........I make a mean spaghetti bolognese, but I find its very messy to eat and we'd laugh at each other sucking the spaghetti.

Failing that, how about a juicy sirloin steak with all the trimmings.....mmmmmmmmm.

(more cnversation, but maybe a little flirting for good measure)

Dessert:

I'm feeling this.....mmmm......strawberries and cream......doesnt matter whether we eat it or smear it over each other.

Followed by some ice cubes.....

(you're wondering why!)

hmm.....use your imagination.....
