april 2, 1964 i stood before a colonel of marines and swore the oath of allegiance. that oath still binds me, and i am deeply offended by anyone who offends the commander in chief, the troops in the field, their endeavors, or breaks their oath. all of these people, involved, deserve our full support, were i young enough, i would be there with them.

well...I stopped marching once Bagdad was bombed..

I still go out to Kirkland and talk to Both sides of the demonstration...and I find they both have some strong points.... I'll always speak my mind and I have no commander and chief....I HAVE ELECTED EMPLOYEES WHO I AND MY COUNTRYMEN PAY HANDSOMELY!!

we expect to be well represented and demand intelligence and diplomacy ....

but..In all fairness, There is no question in anyones mind who I have talked to anywhere in the peace movement that Saddam has to be dealt with...the question was HOW to deal with him

and HOW to win a UN resolution....

authorizing War, with a true coalition of allies if that's what it comes to.

I personally feel our president was unequal to the task.

as it is..

This thing is rolling now and I hope to God it gets done quickly.....

but I fear the aftermath...

This is not about YOUR oath...

take offence if you wish.

All of us have relatives who died to get us here....

and MANY of the marchers I walked with were veterans.
