USA verhängen Medienverbot





Die militärische Führung der Golf-Alliierten hat ein totales Medienverbot über die Ereignisse im Irak und Kuwait verhängt. Direkte Informationen über den Kriegsverlauf würden ab sofort nur noch über einem "Medien-Pool" an die Agenturen weitergegeben. Ein Washingtoner Regierungsbeamter sagte, es werde sicher gestellt, dass "die Medien aus den richtigen Quellen schöpfen", um in der Lage zu sein, "die Wahrheit zu verbreiten".
