Dear BeSonic-Artists,





The internet platform www.besonic.com and its huge artist community, as well

as the company BeSonic AG, have had a number of turbulent years. Our vision of

being a virtual meeting point for music producers and music fans, that

generates enough money from promoting and distributing independent music,

has not been as fruitful as we thought.



Our constant endeavour to economically run and sustain this platform was not

always welcomed by you. Each step we took towards "increase of turnover"

created even "more constraint" for you. Despite the fantastic possibilities

of the internet, it has been difficult to match the typical artist's needs

(unrestrained promotion of music and exchange with like-minded musicians)

with the expectations of a rather naive audience (selects according to strict

quality standards, prefers music by well-known artists and light entertainment).



For those who have stayed on with us we want to say a BIG Thank You for your

patience and loyalty with "Your" site, BeSonic! We therefore have decided to

return the gesture and give something back. We will immediately terminate all

commercial consumer products of the site and undo all limitations that went

with it!



Over the coming months BeSonic will "return to its roots" by becoming an

all-artist/promotional platform for the independent promotion, distribution

and free exchange of music and ideas. In doing so we will also consider your

suggestions, some of which were made ages ago. We shall also hope to expand

by offering more professional music services in the future.



The reason we are able to do this true "sigh of relief" is, we've found a sponsor

who will take over and run the entire BeSonic website. And since this company

is a well-known manufacturer of music and PC equipment, BeSonic will "stay in

the family". What’s even better, generating profit from BeSonic will not be

their main incentive.



Since BeSonic and staff have to relocate, we'll be busy moving the server and the

rest to the new office over the next weeks. We'd like to ask you to be patient and

not flood our support with your questions for now, no matter how pressing. We'll

keep you posted about anything that needs to be organised to ensure for a

seamless transition.
