and touts with the U.S. Ambassador Coats in the same horn

and telling our nation "You are irrelevant"... and "we may deal

again with a new German Government", while they insulted

the free will of 80% of the population...

You know that I personally make distinctions between

the U.S. Administration and the citizens of the U.S.



I am rather sure that the overall U.S. population

is not really O.K. with how the Administration handles

world affairs right now.



That's it... we are living in ONE world.



From my European perspective a war in Iraq is not only

a 'far' problem.



We have a country in the European Union which has borders

with Iraq (Turkey). We have 6 million turkish people in Germany.



I read today at CNN.com

NATO states will meet again today to try to heal their rift over preparations for war in Iraq. President Bush said he was "disappointed" after France, Germany and Belgium blocked a U.S.-led effort to begin NATO planning to defend Turkey in the event of war."



Hell... our position is so damn easy...

We don't prepare for war while we don't want war

and don't see any need for ANOTHER war in that region.



We can smell the dust over here.



You in the U.S. are getting a Hamburger at your local drive-in,

while we deal with the people here.



U.S. politics do affect our daily lives and it is far from being

harmless, that the U.S. administration tells my nation NOT

through the flower, that we should be vassalles and get

another pro-American Government, because the current is

not pro-war and tasty enough.



The reason why we oppose war-preparations in Turkey is,

that by performing these preparations we will play the war

into U.S. hands. This won't happen as much as the U.S. try

to think, that they can split us Europeans up.



Our ties are much stronger than they will be broken up

by the current situation.



NOBODY in Europe wants war, because we have learned

after WWII, that war is not an option for intelligent people

in the 21st. century.



We experienced the death of 25 million people or more

during WWII, devastated cities.



Now look today.... did that change anything?



We Europeans don't think after the "You shoot me, I shoot you" logic anymore.



All military alliances of the past 60 years were based

on a defense-strategy, having written in the agendas

that no western country will START aggressively a war

again, for whatever reason.



Now this has to be thrown all overboard, for QUESTIONABLE

and constructed reasons.



When we are opposing the U.S. we do it not having

anti-American sentiments in our minds, but the ideals

the Americans brought and teached us after WWII.



Now the same Americans tell us, that war is neccessary and

unavoidable.



Me personally, I say war in Iraq is not an option if you

think rational.



Do you know how many Iraqi opponents have been executed

in the last year?



Now the U.S. want to punish and kill the last remaining

opponents by city bombings?



That's sick and dangerous at the same time.

Let's talk about the bombing of Dresden.



That was a war crime committed by the U.S. and

their U.K. vassalles.









600,000 adults (mostly women) and 80,000 children died in one night in Dresden.



ONLY civilians. A planned bloodthirsty revenge.



It was the 13th. of February 1945,

when the war was ALREADY over and

not reigned by AH anymore.



Those without guilt should throw the first stone.



....BECAUSE we experienced this on our soil,

we know what Iraq has to expect and that

we don't support that.



The U.S. are absolutely NOT in the position to

tell us here the difference between 'good' and 'evil'.

I simply wish that there was one BB somewhere where no one discussed politics at all. I do not want to argue with any of my friends about this situation. And I surely will not speak ill of my country's government in an international environment. My main concern as an American is the health, safety, AND morale of American troops.
