Wow Chris, that's high praise! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It was great to see you there. Friendly faces in the crowd give me a massive lift.
I really had a good time last night, we finished at 2 in the morning and then stayed around for a couple of drinks, finally got home at like 4. Gosh.
Planning to come around tonite for ThinkingOutLoud, so see ya there!

some ones of Chris n me. I don't think any of me yelling my head off!
I hope you have fun at your gig. Yeah, this venue was very small too, but there was a nice crowd - in fact it was quite crowded, always a wonderful thing. And they seemed to be having a good time. We had some technical problems and I ran out of banter - made the mistake of asking if anyone could do stand up, as a joke. But one guy volunteered. He took the mike and told a really long joke, which would've been quite funny if he'd delivered it well, but he didnt, and the crowd was quite relieved when we started again hahahahahahahahahaha! But they all laughed and clapped anyway. Wheeeeeeeee.
I used my Dixie auction SM57 last night. It did me quite proud.
Chris has a gig tonite in the same place and I'll probably go there in a couple of hours.
Our next one is open air, a multiple band line-up, mid feb. I'm really looking forward to that, I love open air gigs.
cheers

You got your SM57 from the Dixie auction..?? - so very cool!!!
That's funny - you and Chris playing the same venue...!! - I hope you guys can get some pictures up..
I'm trying to get a short video clip up - 1 song - about 3 minutes.. - but the tech stuff makes met nuts....I think I may just bring it to a pro and pay to have it done..
An open air gig in February?!?!? - God, what is the weather like there at that time of year...?

LOL LOL LOL!
Chris WHAT were you doing to Wig??? hehehehehehehe.
I'm most awfully sorry - I fully intended to make the gig, but closed my eyes for just a little bit before getting ready (about 9:45), and that was that for the whole night! When I woke next it was 3am. ouch. Swot you get when you sleep at about 4:30 in the morning!
Anyway, I'm sure it went smashingly - will give you a yell la'aer!

Drooly, we've been having a most mild winter, so I expect the weather mid feb will probably be in the mid-teens... hopefully a bit of sun and slight chill. I love outdoor gigs. And if they have a decent sound system then i can use my beta 87a. Thats a great mike. I'm now looking for a decent cordless, but not one that will bankrupt me. suggestions anyone?
