(Sinatra is actually much more to my liking in the genre)

The one thing Anka did that will make him a Trivial Pursuit entry is for writing the theme song for the "Tonight Show" (on in the late eve). It was hosted from about 1962-1993 by Johnny Carson, who passed away this Spring. Johnny will be an American icon for a long, long time. He was a funny, bright guy of true class.

Other than that item Anka is pretty forgettable, lol. But when I saw the link was to an NPR (National Public Radio) page I assumed it would suck anyways, so it was hard for me to feel any more dissapointed! hahahaha
