STATUE RECORDS TO RELEASE SEISMIC ANAMOLY'S LATEST EFFORT, CODE RED

Seismic Anamoly/Statue Records will be releasing SA's latest effort, Code Red, on April 30. It is Seismo's first release since 2004, when his Snake Eyes CD hit the net, also on the Statue Records label.



Listeners anticipating Seismo's potpourri of hard rockin' guitar instrumentals will not be disappointed by this new release.



Code Red took roughly a year to compile and it includes Seismo's collab with fellow artist Skeeter on "Mirror", a tune set

to Seismo's song "Scuttlebutt Strut", with Skeeter providing lyrics and vocals. The song has been described as a very "up" tune, sung with attitude and vocals that give it a real "Southern Rock" feel, similar to that of Molly Hatchet.



"Dancin" With The Devil" is a collab done with Seismo's good friend PanicK - guitarmeister, and, in his own words, "legendary layabout and part time saloonist", out of Arizona, USA.



Also included on the CD are several of Seismo's chart-topping Instrumentals. "Afterburner" was #2 on the Metal chart at Artistlaunch.com for several weeks and #1 on the Instrumental Metal chart at the now-defunct MP3.com. "Way Of The Warrior" reached #2 on the Instrumental Metal chart and "And So It Goes" reached #1 on the Soft Rock chart also at MP3.com.



The project Seismic Anamoly was started in 2002 by Michael S. of Meridian, MS, USA. Seismo has been composing and playing music since 2000, and his work in the Seismic Anamoly project is done primarily utilizing his Peavey EVH Wolfgang. Seismo had a total of 13 #1's, 2 #2's, 1 #3, 1 #4, and 1 #5 on the now defunct MP3.com charts, and has been featured on numerous music websites including MusicDish, ZeBox, MP3 Unsigned, New Artists Radio, Musician's Cyber Cooler, MakeAStar, Guitarhoo, BandTattoo, CDSmash, GetMeMusic, Magnatune, Space Junkies Magazine, Hardcore Promo, MP3 College Radio Network, 1215, Chicago Music Scene and many, many others.
