I guess that we all have a philosophy about life in general. And I am interested to know how that philosophy fits in with maintaining a presence on the net. Is it really that important ?

I think an internet presence means anywhere in the world, they can find information about you/your band/what you want the world to know about. So if you are a business, sounds important. If you are a band/musician serious about your music, it's important. On a personal level, entirely up to you - how much of a presence, and how you go about presenting your presence. I sure wouldn't have made so many friends in the world without my internet presence :banana For that, I'm very grateful.
