Pillow 'is perfect boyfriend'

Japanese designers have come up with what they claim is the perfect solution for the unattached woman - the boyfriend pillow.

IOL (Zambian newspaper) says the pillow is an ideal sleeping partner because it doesn't snore, hog the duvet - or sleep around.

Each model comes with two shirts in blue and pink, that can be washed and ironed by the dutiful 'girlfriend'.

And one model also works as an alarm, by shaking to alert the woman when it is time to get up.

A spokesman for the manufacturer said the pillow has been so successful they have had to draw up a waiting list of customers.

He said: "Women of all ages have been queueing round the block to take one home."

The 39 pound pillow is currently available only in Japan but may soon be exported.

hahahaha, Chris! Permanent press was probably the greatest invention of the last century. I bet kids of the next generation will just give a person a confused look if he mentions "ironing" or an "ironing board"!

Dunno, permanent press is starting to disappear!

I was in the USA recently, and was astonished at the quality of stuff now being sold in stores! Cheap imports that say stuff like, "Do not tumble dry. Warm iron".

When I'm buying clothes, if it says, "Do Not Tumble Dry", it's saying, "Do Not Buy".

I learned how to iron from watching Carson do it on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", but it took me about 20 minutes to do one item! So I won't be trying that again in a hurry!

I can iron, but I just don't, simply can't be bothered.

Most of my clothes are wash, hang dry and wear, and the rest we dryclean...

I have an iron and an ironing board at home, taking up rental space on the floor!

As for that fake partner... I'm not much into stuffed toys either... :ohno
