Hey, thanks for the link, Chris!
I don't think I've ran into that classics site yet and I like a site where you can enjoy just strolling along and looking about. Like that Chernobyl biker gal's pages, it's like going to a photo exhibition.
I have a huge links colection re:film, since I use 4 browsers (usually not all at once, hahaha) I use a program that imports favorites, bookmarks, deletes the duplicate links and then saves/exports the combined file from all the browsers. That way, music links, news links and others get culled down to one main file to refer to if I'm looking for something.
You know that it doesn't take very long for bookmarks and favorites to pile up in the browser!
Currently in my bookmarks for film:
Greatest Films
Masters Of Cinema
I enjoy bad films, too - that is, films that are so bad that they're good. I think the one that most bad-cinema fans would vote as the all time worst - it's funny and amazing in it's awfulness - is the classic stinker -
Plan 9 From Outer Space
If you like poking around at fun/odd and interesting collection of general "stuff", not specifically film, it's easy to spend at least an hour looking thru Lileks. James Lileks is a local guy, a newspaper columnist and a web-wide respected blogger("The Bleat").
What's fun at the site are the areas such as in "The Flotsam Project" (from the main page).
He's also a bit of musician-mixer, here's a deeplink to a mp3 "Doctor Poppycock" - it's a bit of StarTrek in-joke mix - from his Music page.
I'm off to look at that Reel Classics site a bit more on this stormy-looking Sat morn!
