Seismo, one of my older bros is John Kay's biggest fan (since '66).In fact, he wrote the world's longest fan letter to him. (Not listed in Guinness, tho). When Kay's version of the Wolf (that's the only real one)comes to town, the bro has a convo with Kay and gets some fine seats.

The original Wolf bassist, Nick St.Nicholas, used to live in the Minneapolis area, mebbe still does - mostly giving bass lessons & riding on his former Wolf creds. There's some bad contractual/legal blood between Kay & Nick.

Great group, everyone should have a copy of their first self-titled album and a copy of "Monster". What was kinda odd to me was finding that "The Pusher" was penned by Hoyt Axton.

I appreciate the offer, Seismo, but you'd have to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay the bill to get the poor lasses blitzed enough to do that!! hahahaha.

Now, what we need is a 2005 North America (& South America, too, whutheheck) Blah, Blah, Blaher's Convention. Get the gang from Germany to HK & all stops in between to someplace like Chi-town or somewhere midway that's not too far north, south, east, or west. Rent a place to jam in, do some drinking (or abstaining therefrom), talking Burn into bringing some Euros into a friendly hand of five card draw and all other manner of shenanigans.

And the meet-up is a cool idea, but I don't think some of the members would bother to visit the "Great Satan".
