Ahh, Baby.....

There are musicians, and there are Producers who are able to translate well....

The best I've heard online is Mike Burn.....

But what I would recommend for you....?

A small studio with an engineer who understands your style...

It would only be about 4 or 5 tracks - Acoustic Guitar, Bass, and 2 Vocals tracks..... - and maybe some percussion....

Well mixed and mastered....

i agree with foolybutt on all of his points.

another thing is that some of the more complex lines just don't flow right. the words should flow a bit more fluidly, without such a stuttery flow.

i think it's a well-written song, and pretty original, lyrically.

i'm looking forward to hearing a well-produced version.

Wow I second (or is that third) what the guys have said! I love your voice Helen! The lyrics are great! Droolymutt is right - Mike Burn would be fabulous - he only produces songs he likes so maybe we'll all point Mike in the right direction :banana

I DO know that Mike has a long queue of songs to work on. Do you want me to ask around Helen? It's fabulous to work with other musicians and producers! Very very cool too..!!

I liked it. Its a lot more than I can do by myself, and the clarity is very good. I imagine this is a scratch?

Some small comments - I know this is a scratch. I can hear the voices are not entirely in unison, and I can see some light percussion in there. Also, when you go high power, it sounds a tad like shouting because there's not enough high power backing to balance it out. Yeah, if you team up with someone perhaps they can come in with screamy lead there! and when your voice is warmed up some growl! heh.

But your voice as usual is fantastic, and the lyrics are coooool.
