I think the votes of one excellent, one good and one bad are perfect for this place...
Let me explain. The venue itself is OK (if not enormous) but it really depends on the band how good your evening will be...
Some, like 9th State & Deja Blue, are excellent, others like Don't Panic & Hei Sha are good...

Well, at the time this was written (see date) we'd been around for less than a year, and our current lineup was only a few months old - Harold and John only having joined in Feb/Mar. The video on our website was done just our third gig together, May last year. We do tend to have our audience joining in rather than just watching, and they tend to stay almost to the very end... I love finding stuff like this accidentally heh.
And the Fringe club (where we play next week) had a really cool description in their promo mailer. They have a new promoter who has started rewriting the band's description and I was really thrilled at what she did with ours. Will put that up next post, unfortunately its a printed flyer so I can't post a link.
It's an uphill slog for me since I'm so new to the HK music scene (less than 2 years old in fact!), so to have even some recognition feels fantastic!

WOW, this was the coolest thing! And it went to all the club members...
Friday 14
Hei Sha
Rock
Classic rock led by the stunning front-woman, Debbie, who trained in choral and theatrical singing but now unleashes her rock nature. Hei Sha translates as "Dark Sand" in Mandarin. They're an international rock act that blends delicious vocals with the rhythm of high-energy drummer Harold, thefunky bass of Alan, a mix of classic rock and adventurous original lead from guitarist Colin and the keyboard acrobatics of Richard.
I like words like "delicious". That is so sweet of Claire.
