ok - wierd topic- I know...

But I had half an eye on my television for the past hour while doing other stuff....

Watched a documentary about the social/emotional lives of elephants....

Very loving, social, caring animals, them elephants.......

Very intelligent and sensitive, too....

I love elephants.

Back to our regular programming...

on a stoopid personality quiz one time it said my animal personality is that of an elephant. i was like, wtf, are they saying i'm fat and slow? but actually, elephants are ever sentimental creatures, and highly intelligent. so i guess i'm ok with being an elephant, although i always considered myself more of a panther. :popcorn

But have you seen the way elephants gravitate towards, and protect, and cherish, their loved ones?

Elephants are cool. Like Dolphins.

Well I've been on one, with my sisters - must've been about 9 or 10 then. It took us around Bandipur Game sanctuary. And we saw lions and peacocks an all. It sways a lot on that bed type thingy on the top.

Unfortunately we were downwind of the elephant all the way and it had a bad stomach.... ewwwwwwwwwwww.

Elephants are a common sight in India.

Once me and a bunch of friends went for a picnic, driving some ways out of Bangalore. We found a likely spot, and were just about to settle when we thought we'd explore what was behind a high wall close by. We legged it over the wall and it was even nicer there, lots of trees, very shady. So we laid out our picnic gear and in doing so noticed some HUGE pug marks. We were in a game santuary and lions (or some other beeg cat) had just been around. My God, you won't believe how quickly we got back over that wall....

Life in India was huge amounts of fun and adventure ahahahahahaha

Elephants are great! The last time I was on an elephant trek was on Phuket. His name was Mr. Boo and he was REALLY pleased to see me - hahahahahaha - Shaun was laughing his head off! hahahahhahahaha They're very strong and can grab and eat so much foliage!!
