This tune is up to be used in an Indie movie by the name of "Black and Blue"....a hip-hop oriented flick about life in the city dealing with the Police from a young Black man's viewpoint....

Any suggestions for tweaking?? Appreciate your time!!

A groovy thang, with some nice rhythm guitars.

Regarding the purpose the track is intended for, I think it may sound a bit too "positive". I don't really hear the street gang element. Maybe a dirtier bass would do the change, the clavinet bass sound is very thin and not providing a solid and dirty base

I also would simplify the bass line then.... da.dum..da.dum.dum.....

)) Know what I mean?

Just a first impression and all other than that a interesting experience to listen to !

It IS a bit too passive, isn't it....based on some of the things you would encounter, say, in South Central LA, for instance!!

I think she plans to use it in the opening scene of an individual strolling down the street checking out the neighborhood in the daytime during a relatively "non-turbulent" moment...if she uses it at all. I think from the feedback she will, though....we'll see.
