Iam gutted................

My local Bar, The "New" Three Mile Inn, is being knocked down to build flats........

It totally SUCKS!!

A short history.............

My Father met my Mother there many moons ago, I had my 18th birthday there and my 21st birthday party there AND I met Denise there...........So a few little memories!!

So its to be knocked down........ Sad!!

Well i'll tell you a story too, my old gung fu school was closed down after it was there since 1974 (I wasn't there then i'm only 22), me and the brothers, it was out school, it was where we did our learning. Now it's gone. It was something special to us. The club has moved to another place, it's a good place and the club goes on. We all moved on and since then they decided to knock down the schoolto build shops, but I would have liked to have been there with the brothers one last time in the old gym. The new place is good, so it's not so bad. We don't go there anymore anyway, i've took my own path etc., but we always liked to think we can go back if we need to.... At least going to the new club is like going back even though it's not the same place. It's still the same school. A lot had changed though, the brothers are no longer there, the people are not there anymore, new people that time was good, but now things have changed all round....

That stinks. I hate it when that happens. Sometimes I'd like to go back to places I remember as a child, and sometimes I cherish the memories too much to go back and see that the place isn't there anymore. I guess you didn't have that choice.

Dreamtone I feel the same

Chris....... I think the asking price for the bar and land is £6 million....... If I had it I would buy it!!!

There is massive objection.... just hope we pull it off!!
