My newest song is one of the strangest I've ever written....

I wasn't even sure what to make of it when I listened back. It is what it is I guess...something I wrote and recorded after flipping through one of my girlfriend's National Enquirers! LOL!

I weird one to be sure...

Daniel I envy you at the mo...... I used to do things, read or watch or whatever and go record a track.... but I cant do that at the moment

well thank you paul....but if it's any consollation, i've been experiencing writer's block for awhile now! Some people really seem to like the song which is weird for me...last night, as i was playing it back for the first time i thought to myself "wow....this may really suck!!" LOL! But, I suppose people appreciate the emotion artists can often capture spontaneously...i bet if i try to rerecord the song, it would have the same honesty about it....

i'm tickled that some folks are even getting it at all!

Daniel! I'm in a cyber cafe listening to you! You sound a bit like John Lennon on this track. It doesnt grab me like the other tracks I've heard of yours but then it's an 'experimental' track - It would be a great one to put visuals to! I can only make out you're singing 'beautiful' - were you stoned when you recorded this? :wgrin

hey ken...have all the pix from the show...my girlfriend took some great shots of both of you. I don't have a scanner, but gave all the pix to my guitarist yesterday...so I shld have some for you soon!

i love the "industrial" sound of the music in contrast to your vocal. the many layers of music are very interesting and i think what makes it for me is the keyboard (i'm guessing it's keyboard) that comes and goes in the mix there. man this is really nice and interesting. worth many a listen at a much higher volume than i can give it here at work too!
