Independent Video Fest seeking submissions!!!

The GLFA is one the first independent film associations in the world to exclusively dedicate an entire festival to Independent Music Videos. As it stands, only LA, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Toronto can claim to have festivals solely dedicated to music videos in North America. Making Erie home to an event of this kind will be an excellent complement to the already outstanding arts climate in both the Erie community and the Great Lakes Region.



The GLFA Independent Music Video Festival will continue to completely exploit the DLP™ technology by Texas Instruments. GLFA believes that in the near future filmmakers and movie-goers alike will not only want such technology, but will demand the DLP™ technology, and that is why we are bringing it to the filmmakers and the public now.



The 1st. annual Great Lakes Film Association Independent Music Video Festival will be accepting VHS/DVD music video submissions for this year's festival as of December 1, 2003. The Festival will be held in Erie, Pa. in April 2004. Cross continent and cross-genre, the festival covers all ranges from pop, punk, rock, alt-country, country-western, folk, reggae, hip-hop to electronica, jazz, blues, Zydeco, gothic, karaoke, avant-garde, World Music, and experimental.

Early submission deadline is January 31, 2004. Final Submission Deadline is February 28, 2004. Submissions will be accepted worldwide.



Early submission fee $30.00 {US Currency } For all videos submitted after February 28, 2003 the submission fee is $40.00 {US Currency }
