One small man brought down a huge empire...

OK that might be an exaggeration but it seems amazing to think, they didn't back up their servers. Of course, we only have their word that it was a disgruntled employee of some company that they hired.....

Wishing 1sound the best for the future.

It sounds fishy to me.., even if all data is lost, artists can always resign back up..

I don't see what the problem is.., they can always start over.

I just saw this post. Didnt know this before.

If they get set back up will artists have to recreate their pages? I am not at 1sound, but when Java went down we all had to register again and recreate our pages, and although I was an expresso member with almost my whole year remaining, I never bothered. Just didnt have the time, sigh.

Hi everyone,

Yeah it is a shame...

me personally..i archived and deleted all my ix pages 2 months ago....plus deleted my songs...

alot of people had some amazing ix pages...and they're all lost...musicwise...all artists worth their salt should always have backups.

wishing you all a wonderful xmas & new year

:)
