Hey Debbie!! We're going too!! In the cheap seats!! hahahaha I'm really going to see Michelle Branch as I think Neil Young will be too old and boring for me!! hahahahahaha It seems only older people are into Neil Young. I was just saying to a friend that I'd much much much rather see Linkin Park or Evanescence than Neil YOung - hahahahahhaa :rollin

Lets see if we bump into each other again!! :banana

I'm in the front row of section 605...(apparently). Yes, I want to see Michelle Branch too, we cover a couple of hers. But I was just reading about NY and thought, great, if this is his world view, I just might enjoy him!

He rocks 1000 times more than Michelle Branch, and has a whole legion of young fans.

Hey sounds like a great combo show, Debbie! Neil is an all-time classic and Michelle's "Goodbye To You" never fails to get me misty-eyed. Have fun!

You're right about good ol' Neil being appreciated(Tho I like Michelle Branch, too). I think we should sentence Chris to 12 hours of listening to Harvest/Goldrush for the "old & boring Neil" remark, hahahaha! :fades

hahahahaha I knew that Neil Young comment would rile people up! :bleh My 'elderly' friends storm off when I say that - hahahahahahahahaha Yeah he's coming with Crazy Horse and if it's boring, I'm leaving early! hahahahahahhahaa :bleh

OK - I do refer to Neil as the Godfather of Grunge so he's got to have something going for him.... :bleh

I don't really care about whether an artist is old or not. If the music is good, its good. A lot of modern artists are shite. Crap pretentious lyrics and lousy melodies. and they seem to think that terrible singing, just plain shouting or strange stage antics can compensate for lack of any basic musicality. There's a reason why some artists have stayed around for so long and still have a following and why some have dissappeared into thin air. One exception to this rule is Madonna... although her image has changed her current songs SUCK. heh - sorry Chris (although I did like her earlier stuff). She appeared on Letterman once and did an unplugged type thing, with lots of off-key bits...totally disillusioned me. I will not pay money to see Madonna. But I WILL pay money to see Cher - am a BIG fan of hers.

Although Neil acoustic is more for hardcore fans, he always totally rocks out with Crazy Horse. Rolling Stone magazine by the way called Neil and the Horse "the American Rolling Stones" and he was once in fact asked to join the Stones.
