died Friday night at 40. he had health problems much of his life. here is the memphis obit. He was one musician true to his music and shunned all publicity..

I'm sorry to hear that. The guy is a cult legend amongst guitar players. I heard about him back in the 80's when he wasn't much more than a kid.

A virtuoso with absolute command of the instrument.

I heard about his death on Friday, and then searched all over for his music - thanks for posting the link Chris.



Working with Colin has increased my appreciation of lead guitarists no end - and guy really rocks!
