I have watched the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, MTV Music Awards. I get bored with them except for, sometimes, the opening speech. I don't really understand why millions love them. Explain it?

Oscars are good if you've seen the movies! I love movies so I do try and get this videotaped so I can watch the good parts!



Grammys are boring cause they are only ever mainstream stuff although the year Eminem won loads was cool - I didn't watch it though :aua



I love music videos but MTV doesn't show many do they? All reality programs that are very bizarre! MTV Asia is different to MTV Europe or USA and is really really boring.

I find the oscars boring boring boring.



I like watching beautiful people and clothes though - maybe thats it? It still is not enough for me to sit through three hours of yecchy thank yous, however.



The only fun thing about this year's oscars, imho was Michael Moore.

yeah. when someone starts with that I totally tune out - it DEFINITELY means an insult is following and the due respect is so you wont send a hit man after them.



Also when people use IMHO, they usually proceed to sound as pompous as possible, me included... heh
