How do I copy from a line-in into a .wav on my computer!

I have a mix-down of a TOL song on MD and I want to transfer into .wav file in my computer for highest resolution blah blah



I used to have something on my computer (when it was Win 98) but now there's this crappy 'sound recorder' which is no good. :warrior



What's simple and effective for me to use? :banana

Looks like an interesting prog, AqAgeChris! I'll have to try it out. I tried the mp3 player from there - kinda like WinAmp, but I don't think it opens streaming audio from the net.



Probably the coolest little prog for just playing audio (mp3, midi, wav, blah,blah) I have found is "TrayPlay", it's only 37k, you don't need to install anything, just download and run it. Simple little thingee and it's a freebie, too.

Hey Chris - that program doesn't let me copy from line-in - I'm copying from an MD not a CD.....
