How do I assign a moderator???

How do I assign a moderator to an EZBoard forum???



I went to my EZ Admin, clicked on Member Management, checked a user, then selected Assign Moderators To Forums...





but it said "This username doesn't have moderator powers."



Yeah! I know he doesn't! That's why I'm trying to assign him as a moderator! DUH!



Is there another way????

Click on "Member Management"



Click on



"Manage Membership Levels"



...in the following screen create a "new Level",

give it a name like "Moderator The Bar"...



...click on "Save Changes"...





Return ro "Member Management"...

..select the user you want to grant Moderator-Rights,

....select "Assign Moderators To Forums"...

...choose the Forum you want to grant moderative rights for...



Save Changes.



That's it.

There are other functions of a Mod. besides moderating posts. Decisions like which posts to make sticky, which posts to delete because they are outdated, deleting posts that are spam etc.

I am only the Mod @ "Music Biz Acadamy". :laugh
