It's always good to know, that fellow artists get a chance for real life success!!!



However, I think he's a bit too much of a George Michael clone for my own personal taste :D :fd

Just thought I'd let u know that UK pop/dance artist Richard Marinelli was discovered on Getmemusic.com by UK label Ravensbourne Records and is set to have his first single "Maybe Tonight" released nationwide in October.



A video is currently being shot and an album will be released in a couple of months.







Hopefully, he will be the first of many Getmemusic artists to get a shot at success.

Yeah...he DOES sound a bit like George Michael.



Hopefully , the next signing that comes from my site will be a good, raw, rock band!



I'm betting that Scottish rockers StandbY will get snapped up very soon.

Quite simple really....



An exec from Ravensbourne was browsing around a few music industry sites, then spotted a link to Getmemusic.com.



He browsed GMM and discovered Richard.



I didn't know anything about it until Richard's producer (who is the same guy, coincidently, that produced my Roll A Fat One song) called me to say that the label had signed him.



He also told me that the exec was impressed by the layout of Richard's Portfolio page (artist page) on GMM...



....and that he had signed him without having to be sent a "press kit" because all the info he needed was on Richards GMM page.





So there you go....GMM artist pages can now be officially called "24 /7 press-kits." ;)
