Is that the flag protocol (if there is one) for 9-11? If not, I'm thinkin' some folks will let Old Glory fly fully raised.
That was a horrific day, so many people lost. One of my relatives in an officer with the NYPD, so I called him that day to make sure he & his were okay. They were - of course, too many other families were not.
I think a good thing may to be to go about the day as any other, living life fully, while remembering the lives lost and those who lost family & other loved ones that day.
