OK, the first Getmemusic.com Juke Box Jury LIVE event took place in a bar in my hometown of worthing last night. (Saturday)



The event was based on the vintage 60's UK TV show of the same name, where songs by Getmemusic artists were played and the general public had to decide on whether they could be hits or not.



These are the songs that the general public heard.....



1) Michael Fargnoli - 'Airplane Song.'



2) Jimmy Young - '24 / 7.'



3) Phil Frazier - 'I Don't Know.'



4) Keith Anderson - 'I Can Make Believe.'



5) The Questionnaires - 'Always Rains On Saturday."



6) Thinking Out Loud - 'The Stranger.'



7) Business As Usual - 'Down and Dirty.'



8. StandbY - 'Hell Or High.'



9) Dave Lindley - 'Wasted.'



10) Kate Cassidy - 'Just For The Love Of This Man.'



11) Rodger Christmann - 'Free.'



12) Mikey J. - 'Roll A Fat One.'

Yep, sure will.



I'm adding a few new bands to Getmemusic this week, plus there are a few artists who are joining the site very soon....so there are even more songs that will be played at ther Sept 20th event.

Off Net is really where we should mainly be promoting a music site that is on the Net. The Net place should be a location where Artist and Fans can exchange comments and ideas. Oh and of course a place where the Fans can hear the music and then hopefully buy CDs. I stronlgy feel that GetMeMusic is going the right direction. :yeah

And, yes...I agree, Phil....Off net promo is the BEST (and only) way to successfully promote a music site.



The website is merely a community and an listening booth.



Off net promo is the SHOP WINDOW and gets the general public to that listening booth.
