Hi Guys.. and thankyou. :D

Yes i did take them in May when i travelled to Turkey. I have 50 shots of the city of Ephesus in all :colorf

The temple of Artemis unfortunately no longer exists in its former glory, but i did snap the main collusseum there too, and much of the streets. I even photographed the original public toilets there.. i dont believe i did that :aua

I have only recently had success of linking my blog images to

here, so i thought id contribute after seeing all the great images posted here.

GREAT pictures of cultural goods!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek

This elegant monument was built in A.D. 135 by Julius Aquila in memory of his father, Celsus Polemaeanus of Sardis, Roman Senator and Proconsul of the province of Asia.

It was an overwhelming experience there Mike, a lot larger than i thought it would be. Not all the buildings still stand, but all the streets are there to walk on. Have you been to Ephesus before? There were lots of French, Scandinavian and German tourists there :racing
