Hey Chris!!!!
What a great first jam!!!! Man was it ever loud!!!!
It's giving my tunes a whole new edge, and allowing my vocals to open up. I don't think we'll be recording anytime soon though....LOTS of work ahead of us,but it is a labour of love! Here's the line-up so far(first time i post names):
Julian: 20 year old guitarist, originally from London England. I was a little hesitant when I read he was 20(when he responded to my 'guitarist wanted' ad on MontrealMusicScene.com). Then I thought, "hell, Mick Taylor was 19 when he recorded 'Sticky Fingers' with the Stones!".
Turns out he's a great guitarist, who's influences are either dead or in their 60's! lol! Perfect! He's like a little Jimmy Page type! Exactly what I wanted.
Phil: Twice Julian's age! He's 40 and been playing since he's 14. Very innovative guitarist. The two were already trading licks yesterday which was pretty impresive for a first jam(and we weren't doing covers!). Although we did do Zep's "Since I've Been Loving You" for fun...what a wicked tune! Love that one! "workin' from 7....to 11 every night...."
Scott: L.A boy who did most of his session work in Nashville. He's played with Faith Hill! (yummy!!) lol!!
he fell in love with a french canadian girl and the rest as they say is history!
the guy we have in mind for bass couldn't make it, but he's 26 and not only owns a studio, but is also a luthier! His name is Chris.
So there's the lowdown! Look out everyone!!!!!!!!!

My weekend is going fab. Went to the beach today, darkened my tan and picked up my CD burner and burnt loads of CDs for new bass player - hahahahahaha Off to bed in 5 minutes......
