Hard to believe, but my tune 'lo-fi fool' topppled Canadian supergroup & Warner act Blue Rodeo from the #1 position! #3 is a Universal act!!! Team Indie: 2 Major Labels: 0

The witty and talented Chris came up with the blurb, from my profile, I think. Ever see the "Beverly Hillbillies" show with Jethro saying his goal was to be either a brain surgeon or fry cook? hahaha, I love those choices.



Great tune, your "Lo Fi Fool" - seems to my listening to have a wonderful Lennonesque edge to it. (W/mebbe just a touch of Neil Young.) Do I hear influences or izzit just me?

it's pretty ironic that the song should beat out major acts... the whole thing is rather satirical...it was written to be overly hooky/sugary,as if to say to the majors "is this better? is this what i have to do? or am i just a clown with a $9 computer mic?" lmao!

Certainly music can be formulaic in it's construction, but sometimes the formula works, the music is fine and folks dig it, so that's not all bad. Mebbe Paul wasn't too far off about wanting to fill the world with silly love songs!
