Its beautiful and totally fits to the pic you posted.

If I may critic a little bit: It sounds a little artificial, personally I´d like more natural sounding instrumentation. The rather quick fade is why?

Nevertheless a beautiful song. Is that you singing?:sensational

edit after 2nd listen: Well, the New Age intro fits perfectly. I think the bass is what I meant. Thats too much. And a slightly different (warmer) guitar sound...:yo

Just my 2 €-cents!:eyebrow

btw. Its really hot outside!:hm

Yeah Mike,

I got two rain songs.

Firstly it's "A Hundred Miles Away". I wrote it while my "wife" was to visit her parents for eight days. Secondly it's "Let It Rain".

But there's always a place for a bit of rain in my heart and in my songs.

:) :) :)

SEBASTIAN has a WIFE?!?!?! :stress

My review of LAVENDER CLOUDS (if you use it Mike, please credit Chris B. of TOL - thank you!)

With a slow intro that deceives the listener into believing this will be an instrumental track. The keyboard sounds chosen are very interesting. The singer plaintively wails to his lover about love. Those high notes are so romantic. The simplistic approach is very pleasing to my ears. The guitar is great. This track would be great to smooch to. :banana I do feel, it needs a long guitar solo at the end and then a proper ending rather than fade-out. Maybe we can never get enough of a good thing?

Huh? I should have checked back earlier, but I had a very long band session last night.

Our drummer (who is a excellent cook and gastronome :lol )

brought tropical salads and prepared Cai Pirinha's with fresh lemons and crushed ice :D :warrior

Errrrrr.... thanks a lot for your comments :)

Yes, it's me singing :) :blush

Regarding the photo... it was taken two days ago during a heavy thunderstorm over here... I'm not too good in english when it comes to photographic terms... however, it has been

done using a Canon EOS-5 camera, 400Asa film, blend 5.6 and 15 seconds open lens :)
