drooly the only uploading i do is on mp3.com...

If i respect an artists work the way i show my appreciation is by buying their CD and not taking their work for nothing.....besides i gotta mac..things like kazaa does not work...

and Rod u got da right idea dude ..haha

I think filesharing is GREAT! The radio here in HK is not sufficient for my taste in music and when I read about these great new bands in NME or on the Internet - I wanna HEAR them - if I like a band I will buy the CD - I LOVE owning the actual CD and showing it off to my friends. I don't have the time or patience to burn CDs and put pretty labels on them etc. etc. If I am a fan of an artist I buy every release anyways!!!

I treat it like radio basically. So there! :banana

I mean, for small time acts such as yours truly, it would be flattering to be on Kazaa.

While an act is still in it's infancy, it needs to give some stuff away to become known.

All that is cool, and understandable.

But if and when an act/artist reaches a level of popularity where they stand a chance on seeing some return on their investment and hard work, it should be their choice whether to give it away, or ask a fee....
