After looking for a long time through the fancy but simply irritating web-programming of Jeza, I gave up finding the original, so I can't tell you the difference.
Your version is a relaxed grooving reggae type of track,
definitely a good party keeper. Maybe a bit too relaxed or slow for my taste. Could have 5 or 10 ticks more (beatwise)
There went a lot of time and passion into the production and I think I simply like the track, especially when it is so hot right now over here Where's my drink please?

Oh I agree with Mike about Jeza's site. I thought Mike was exaggerating but all these pop-ups and the navigation is hard - didn't know if I was going to a song page or what so I didn't find the original either.
Hey Paul - your version is definitely world reggae
I logged into soundclick as the hi-fi wouldn't work and I had to login to download the mp3. I voted hot for your song and it seemed ok but after I clicked "Add song to my soundclick" and clicked 'ok' it says it can't find your page and takes me back to soundclick's home page - just thought you should know!!

Hey thanx for the listen Mike........ I totally agree with you on the production, you may have read before.... I am crap at mixing and crap at production!! . Thats why I searched for producers etc etc... So after re-mortgage of my castle, I hope to get a quality CD produced this year..
I strugle to find time to record at the moment, never mind spending time on production ....... Too much time at work and in the Bar ..... Nah... I would love to be able to produce my own work but I just dont get it.... I do try, but its probably me and the equipment thats the down side !!
I use cubase 5.1, a Behringer 12 input desk, Delta series Omni desk top audio station... Blah blah blah!!
Chris thanx!!... I will check it out!!. I think its something to do with my credit card details changing

Careful when you enter Jeza's site ... people have been known to get lost in there and never return .....
I quite liked that track, but the vocals seemed a bit over-processed and thin. Spend some of your royal fortune on a condenser mic and a tube pre-amp instead of hunting wild boar in your forests and putting on banquets.

Hi Steve........ great to "see" you!!
To be honest I have not got a clue on condense mic's or whatever..... etc etc..... I did not know wich way my new leather strap went on my guitar !! honest This is a hobbie to me and I am learning.... slowly !! Hahahah
so the re-mortgage is still on!! haha
I have had Midi keys for years... and guess what... I aint a clue about midi!!
Nice hearing from a fellow Geordie!!.. However remember who is king!!

.... you can get a decent condenser mic for under £200 - we use a Marshall MXL 2003 which does the job great - check what I mean at www.mp3.com/thequestionnaires Cubase might have simulators, but if not a Behringer pre-amp isn't much over £100. The difference is amazing, honest. Go and see Rob Meek at Sound Control in Mosley Street - he's a lovely bloke and he won't rip you off. Tell him I sent you.

Hi Steve...... I know Rob!! .... not that personally but back in 1990 he recorded the band I was in then!! I bought the gear I use now off him at sound control.... apart from the mike....... wich is, as I look at the box...... an AKG C 2000 B.... Ah its a condenser microphone??? Iam still no wiser ....... £169 I think.... He was not in when I went for the mic.....
Yeah ya right Rob is a real nice person and not a rip off merchant..... hard to find these days....
I must come and see you at your gig... some advice desperatly needed!!..... .... Thanx for ya time Steve.....
