One thing... - I would start the song with much less instrumentation, and give more of a "build" towards the chorus...

Wow! This is a great electrified version of Flame. Pris sounds so much fuller.



It sounds much busier than the original! LOL! I think it's a bit too busy at the beginning - not sure if that is because I've listened to the original just before.....



Good intro. Good effects on Pris's vocals. I like the parts with guitars more than the parts with keyboards (first part esp.) Although the keyboards around 2:15 is cool

The acoustic guitar that you hear come in and out occasionally is SO COOL!



Whooooooooo listen to Mike's guitar around 2:45 wheeeeeeeeeeeee

I don't like that keyboard going 'dum-de-dum-de' though.



Cool ending! Overall excellent production. I'm sure Pris will be SO DELIGHTED with this! Great work Mike!

I think she sounds simply different now in

My honest opinion??



This is as good as anything I've ever heard along these same musical lines on the Radio, bar NONE...I don't care who the artist was/is....Top 40, whatever....sure it could and should be tweaked here and there, but DAMN it's good....the power is THERE...



Just plain HOTT...promote the crap out of it...

Chris So.... you don't like the european electrification sounds? 'dum-de-dum-de' ? Granted. But I think it's "hip"

I was thinking a long time what I could do, to make it sound not just as another ballad. The 'dum-de-dum-de' concept popped then in my mind



Seismic I do think, the track showcases Priscilla's voice in a radio-ready way, at least people can enjoy her talent by being surprised about the whacked backing "band"

Don't mis-understand me, Mike... - I think you improved the track tremendously... - no doubt.



I think the original was a little blasé, whereas this one has a lot of life....and, (as has been said), is good enough for radio..



Excellent sonic quality, good arrangements, good performance.





I would just like to hear it "build" a little at the beginning...



But it's only an opinion, and my personal taste..

far more "modern" feel than the original, Pris's voice is wonderfully emotive, strong, melodic as usual. The whole song is mellow, yet has energy. If I could associate a colour with a song, I'd definitely choose glowing red embers - you've captured the mood very well Mike, with the backing.



I find it hard to understand the sung lyrics. Perhaps greater clarity is needed there? I'm a big one for the power of lyrics. Still the song kind of washes over you so in the end you dont care what the lyrics are.
