I wrote that song for a mistress. I learned my lesson though. My wife didn't like the idea and told me to chose. I chose my wife. Now years later, my wife still scowls at me whenever we are watching a film or TV when that topic is in the plot. She will never forget or trust me again. :stress

I haven't strayed since then but obviously it's "Once burnt, twice shy".

Drooly the gig went really really well. All in all we had a goo. :aua

There were quite a number of people there and most stayed till the end - 3 sets. It was a lot of fun. I was actually amazed at the turnout cause we had really bad thunderstorms last night - not a night when one ventures out!

I have another one tonite. So here I am drinking throat tea and honey...

My wife has forgiven but for sure not forgotten. Listen to the words carefully of "Let's ..., Chris. This happened before the mistress debacle. Ya know being a musician aint easy, especially on the road for months at a time and ladies being available. I used to gig 6 nights a week and I was actually not too bad lookin' at one time, ages ago. Talk about being able to sing on the 5th & 6th nites.. Used to down a lot of hot white Russians, the mixed drink ya doh doh.

Didja get my link about the warmup exercises??

We played at 48th Street. With the rain I really thought the place would be empty. We knew a lot of the people, but there were some folks that just stopped by and stayed. Good feeling.

Yeah Phil - the voice! and I REALLY do some high powered singing. If you listen to the tunes on my site, you'll never expect it in a million years hehehehe. Stuff like Tina Turner's version of Proud Mary, Radar Love, Weak, Stranger by the Day... loads of fun.

I think I drank too much beer cause my head was spinning when I woke up, but I'm better now. heh.

I'd be amazed if your wife is not possessive of you now. But you know, sometimes the "transgressors" are the more possessive people in a relationship, cause they know how easy it is! And you know, one judges people the way one thinks!
