For some reason this reminded me of the first time I saw in acquiantance who is a "transgender perfromance artist" when he was half-dolled up! :bigeyes

Kind of a catch-all term I believe, Chris - ain't a boy, ain't a girl, gotta be "transgender"! hahaa! Just plain ol' "drag" works fine for me, though it's not politically correct.

Gotta admit the term "performance artist" always gives me giggles - it's so pretentious sounding. "Venus" has been involved in all sorts of art-related areas. I know him mostly from video/film projects where we've crossed paths now and then. Errr, we don't run much in the same circles these days, lol.

My buddy the catnip-supplier has helped direct, produce and edit some of his films/video. The woman who did a bio-documentary of Jane Goodall for America's Public Broadcasting System did a doc film short (concerts, etc.) on Venus a little bit ago called "Venus Of Mars":Venus Of Mars

Lynette has wonderful green eyes and strawberry blonde hair. I believe she's an instructor at a local U (English studies). Smart, lovely lass.
