Found some stuff while strolling around the net.. Thought I would share...

Yeah, this place really sucks...it sucks so bad it:

1. Saved Hong Kong and the rest of China from the Japanese Empire in World War 2...my father was one of the sorry ass Americans landing on Iwo Jima and Okinawa to do it; how dare he?...

2. Saved Germany from it's own mentally deranged dictators in World War 1 and 2, and in doing so preserved the Jewish population of Europe (we don't gas and burn people we don't particularly like)...

3. Saved most of the world from both of these two lunatics with help from the UK, Russia and France (say what you want; history shows all of them were getting their ass kicked until sorry ass America got into it)...

4. Sacrificed hundreds of thousands of American mother's sons to do it...

5. Pays out the largest dollar amount in foreign aid to other countries among the developed countries every year; 24.39 BILLION US the last 2 years...

Source: www.globalissues.org/Trad.../USAid.asp

6. Hosts the United Nations because no other nation had the balls to do it

7. U.S. Funding for UN System (CY2001, actuals): $3.5 billion. As part of that agreement, the regular budget ceiling was reduced from 25 to 22 percent; this is the rate at which the U.S. is assessed. The U.S. is the only member that pays this rate; all other members’ assessment rates are lower.

Yeah..America...it really sucks...and it has a message ya...

Enjoy the rest of your day.

...hate to say it, but that's pretty close to the truth. "Gin" does make some good points....but I'd like to add that this music we play would never exist if it wasn't for America. It was born here....nowhere else.

Sorry, I have no URL as I recently had to drop my carrier (:cgrin ). Didn't bother with it after that, but will put something up one of these days. When I said "we", I actually meant ALL of us who play and love Rock music. It was based on a Blues/Chuck Berry thing that came out of America in the 50's....never heard before, anywhere. All rock music can trace it's roots back to that point in time and space.
