Hong Kong Photos & my island & garden photos !!!!!!!

Here's some of Hong Kong that I took yesterday evening.

This is where I get off the bus in Central, the main business district area; there's only a few old buildings left in Hong Kong and that one is one of them

This is the view where I walk down to catch my ferry. You can see Central Plaza in the background - the tallest building in Hong Kong and on the left is our "Convention & Exhibition Centre" which is similar to the Sydney Opera House. They built this building for the Handover Ceremonies in 1997.

This is the view to the right of the one above. Those ferry piers are for the 'Star Ferry' - famous ferry service that runs between Hong Kong island and Kowloon. Over 100 years old (that's old in Hong Kong!!!)

This is the view from the top of the hill on Lamma Island. An outlying island. Takes 30 minutes from Hong Kong island.

Only 3 storey buildings are allowed on Lamma Island with many of the old traditional Chinese houses around.

Now do you really want to see photos of my garden???? I've probably bored you enough already......

I saw the movie " Rush Hour 2 " yesterday and I thought of you living there in HK.

Did you ever see that movie ?

Yes! I watched that movie just over a month ago - the opening shots are GREAT shots of Hong Kong

I remember when that filming was going on. My brother once worked an evening as one of Jackie Chan's bodyguards

Steve! Yep - sorry about that piece of information.... He usually has about 3. I think it's too save his hair mostly as that's what women want from him....

Jake Yes! First, I take a ferry to Central (main business district) then either a bus or train to the office. I have a longgggggg commute by Hong Kong standards

I'll take my camera out again today and see if I capture anything exciting or interesting. I didn't realise what a fussy photographer I am........

Yep-

I think it was 1992 Chris. Several times. You were probably about four then. One of the best trips of my life.

Steve, run down to your travel agent and pick up some Hong Kong tickets. You'll never regret it.

Well, I finally figured out that I like travelling more than anything else in the known universe, so I got good at doing it cheaply, and I learned how to clear my life for it and also make it tax deductible.

JIM! 1992!!!!! Wow! That's before the handover! Did you come to my island - Lamma island? It was known as the 'hippie' island then........ I know what you mean Jim, I think travelling is brilliant and yes ALL my trips are business expenses - ahhahahahahahaa although I'm a partner in the business so I still have to watch it

Steve! Mike Tyson has bodyguards too. A lot of famous people get no peace from the public. Imagine when you're famous and there are thousands of women trying to rip your hair, your clothes etc. Trust me, you'll have bodyguards then
