The best part of the Fourth of July is blowing things up.

In case you didn't know, the Fourth of July is Independence Day in America, and we always celebrate with lots of fireworks.

The Red White & Boom festival was in Columbus tonight, it's a big fireworks display. About 500,000 people came out. Here is video of the grand finale, in case you like fireworks. Doesn't come through very well on dial-up, but you should get it OK if you have a cable connection.

Woooooo! I just watched the video!!!!! The end bit is pretty good - so you have to watch them with a radio playing?

They have the big sound systems downtown, but one of the radio stations in town also broadcasts the sound (that way, if people are watching from far away they can still listen to the music that's playing).

WOW! So they have big sound systems set up! That's very impressive. Here we have to turn on the TV or radio to get the accompanying music.....
