Hi Chris,

I`ll have a couple of gigs the next weeks. Studiowork means: I got my own studio and we`re going to record the last three songs of 26. We`re going to release a real album this year, but as it is, we`re looking for a label. Until then we`re screwing, filing and snoring the songlist. So the weekend is the only time I can see Laura. On weekdays she`s in a boarding school for disabled children. That`s the way it goes when you`re educating alone.

So enough serious talk for now. I hope you will have a splendid start for next week. :thumb

Sebastian - sounds like you're living and breathing music - way to go!!!!! Just wondering why you're looking for a label? Are you too frustrated to go the self-released route?

Do you also rent out yr studio?

Hi Chris,

four Yellow Jumps Twice CDs were "self-released". I think it`s time that somebody else should do this for me and the band. Concerning the studio - yes you can rent it. Most of the bands I record are just recording demos. But I have five or six "big productions" throughout the year. The difference to for example my old friend Mike B. is: I`m recording analog with a 15 years old Fostex G-16.

Laura - I call her "the queen of the dwarfs" - is ten years old now. From her birth on she`s 100% handicaped. You won`t notice that at a first look, `cause anatomical she`s totally alright. But she`s blind, deaf and can`t move her muscles in a conscious way. Nobody could tell me the reason why. They said she`s one of tenthousands were they have many puzzle-pieces, but they doesn`t fit together!?! So they call her handicap "Cerebral Parese". They don`t know what it is in fact.

But I know Laura`s a happy person, `cause she`s laughing a lot. And that is more than a million words!!!

What a lovely father you are. I'm glad that you are giving Laura all that special love - I'm touched to know you. I've never heard of this "Cerebral Parese" but that must have been tough when the doctors couldn't explain it to you.



So your studio is also for hire :) And 5-6 big productions?

That's pretty impressive! And you've already released two CDs before - how did the sales go on those? I just think in this day and age - labels can make you work 100 times harder for 100% less than what you were making before....
