2nd. 1sound is an OMD I did not intend to boycott for life...

I have a band and I owe my bandmembers to promote the band as effective as possible.



3rd. My main focus of complaint is MP3.com.au

They rejected our track "Superfreak (Suicide Solution)".......

Maybe you can tell me which track we have "covered",

willingly or unwillingly.



Already 10 days ago I asked where I should send the authenticated document of our attorney, that the track had been solely created by myself, music and lyrics, but they even don't send me the fax number and don't respond at all.



That's worse than a #4 rating at 1sound.....

Just write back to Alison and explain it's an original song and that yes you can submit proof of that if necessary. Usually an email is sufficient for these online things. Maybe she thinks you sound like another song. Ask her what song??!?! Sometimes we subconciously plagarize songs without knowing it. Even George Harrison did it and he was in the Beatles

Chris As I said above... I MAILED and get no response, no fax number to send the attorney letter to.



Besides that, we play this song (the music without the lyrics, we added 1996) since the 80's and I walked with the master back then straight to an attorney *stamp*.





Geo... "SuperFreak"... "Love"... "Chrsitmas".......



I don't see any copyright for that name and it is all over the lyrics anyway... for years. The lyrics are unique.



On every other MP3-Site with approval procedure, the track was uploaded without stress since 1996.



What is so different from the old studio version



compared to the rejected live version from this year?



The lyrics are also unique and inspired by a suicide-attack in Germany back in 1996. We recorded the first version with lyrics of the song 2 days after the suicide attack 1996...



It's really sad that I don't get any answer and even not the explanation of what the problem should be. It would be rather interesting, if I can claim some serious bucks from somebody else

That's correct. titles cannot be copyrighted. I could write a song titled, "Satsifaction" nothing can be done about it.



That is probably the confusion with this matter. Well, the holidaze do slow things down.



If Mikes sends Alison an email everyday, I am real sure he would get a reply within a week.
