I hear definitely improved sound, guitar tuning and vocal pitch...

Yea there is a definate improvement all the way around.



Some lessons in breath control would go a long ways towards correcting the vocal intonation problems, especially at the end of phrases.



Overall though there is a noticable improvment. Sounds like a super hot open stage mini disk recording though.

You using a compressor on that stuff when you record it in that fashion FT? Like one built in to the VS?

Not only was there compression on the vocal chain from both the effect on the VS but also a little on my Joe Meek preamp, but also some in the mastering process. I really don't know what I'm doing but just try to keep it simple so it sounds good to me.
