Remix contest at Tonos!

:) Oh well... there was a lot of 'heat' going on at Tonos.com recently...

But they come up sometimes with real cool stuff.

Now there's a remix contest going on, where you can remix a track by U.K. major artist Valerie M!

They even let you use complete raw-wav vocals of her!

Those who are signed up at Tonos can participate.

Deadline is the 23rd. of September.

I'm still evaluating, if I can come up with a lousy 80's mix of the track :LOL

Maybe it's a interesting opportunity for some 'hidden' Tonosians on this board here

No... it's a Real-Player *.rm file.

You have the Real Player installed?

There's no *.mp3 version available

Hey Mike your guitar work sounded wonderful but if I was you I would ditch this chic and stick with what you know best

Have you compared to the original?

Indeed I would not say, that this could become my main production target, but it was a contest where I had to use the given vocals

AHA! Now I can compare with the original. The original sounds very laid-back whereas Mike's version is up-tempo and rockier a-la-Mike-Burn style.

I think it's creative to do this.

Mike, all I'm saying is that you are way to good for this song. I hate the vocals. They sound like old school rap. In a bad rap way. You Rock Mike but her vocals don't.
