A Brand New Recording from Jeza

'One fine day' the REMIX - Now on-line with added psychedelic guitar lines from the inimitable John Hoare. I now have the genre pegged as 'Acid Funk'. What a difference a Mix makes.

If you already downloaded the 1st mix at Java, the new mix is also on-line at ArtistLaunch, where the lo-fi preview is much better quality. Mono preview at Java doesn't do this one justice . So hi-fi and lo-fi stream at AL and downloadable at Javamusic. Still working on the Story behind the song .. but check out my 'fizzy' webpage !!

Smooth and very enjoyable.

I like the guitar and the spaced out style

The "Shake, shake" samples around 2:30 min.

are a little bit too much for my taste..... :ex

Just listened to "One Fine Day". What a cooooooooooooool tune!

I know it`s a totally different style of music, but something in your song reminds me of Paul Weller.

Many thanks - a brand new listener, that's what I like.

I know what you mean about Paul Weller in my overall acoustic sound .. I never really listened to his work that much. I think it's the haircut that puts me off. But I've been compared to all sorts of folks from Bill Withers to Barry White..

Just listening out for any wierdness at around 2.30. That's the voice of Lord Bygon !! Pronouncing j-j-j-jeza in his Eetalian brogue. Maybe you mean the machine gun wawah sample. Somebody else mentioned that. I thought about taking it out but it's there for a purpose to create a tension when I say 'Don't wake her up now !!' My guitarist liked the effect and recommended keeping it in .. Ah well can't please everyone.

Ok, the first few seconds I thought "oh, great but I should sing it!" (sorry, I know... ), but then again no, your voice is exactly fitting, great, but I can´t describe it!

There´s a little bit Jamaica in it for me too.
