BillBoard Magazine Compilation Opportunity!

I am looking for High Quality Electronica / Dance tunes for placement consideration on a very high profile Compilation CD. Selection and placement will be made through JavaMusic.com



I have 2 slots open for this compilation, which is being produced by Billboard Magazine. There will be 600 copies manufactured and Billboard will be personally delivering ½ of them to US radio stations and the other ½ to major retailers.



The 2 slots I have available are guaranteed placement on the disk. This is a major compilation disk, which will receive commercial radio airtime.



To be eligible for consideration submitting artists MUST HAVE a page on Javamusic.com that contains the minimum requirements for promotion listed below as well as a downloadable version of the song being submitted. Deadline for submission is March 16th 2002.



Artists who are selected will be contacted by March 20th with licensing details.



Q: How do I prepare my page to be considered for the "Promotional Opportunities" from JavaMusic?



A: These are the MINIMUM requirements



1. Have at least 3 complete songs available for download.

2. Have those 3 songs associated to an album cover (if you don't have an actual album cover, use your profile picture and self title the album)

3. Have band notes, which are at least 3 sentences in length.

4. Include song notes or lyrics.

5. Have a profile picture uploaded.



In other words, have a complete page. Don't be passed up for a great opportunity for people to hear your music because of lack of input. These minimum requirements don't guarantee you a showcase, but at least this way, you will be considered for the spot.



To Submit email A&R at Java with your Javamusic URL and the title of the song you would like considered. Submissions that do not meet the listed requirements or request A&R to listen to a group of music rather then a specific title will not be considered.
