MADRID, Spain (AP) -- Spanish investigators have turned up no "relevant evidence of a crime" in their probe into whether the CIA used Spanish airports as stopover points for covert transfers of Islamic terror suspects, the Spanish attorney general said Tuesday.

Candido Conde-Pumpido said that for now he does not think the probe, in the hands of authorities on the island of Mallorca and in the Canary Islands, should move to a higher level by being taken up at the National Court in Madrid, the national news agency Efe said.

"The National Court would intervene only if evidence justifying it were to appear," Conde-Pumpido told reporters, according to Efe.

Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos is scheduled to testify on the controversy before a parliamentary commission on Thursday.

Yadda, yadda... diplomatic language....

...."no evidence"... so far.

On the other hand Turkey, the Netherlands and Finland CONFIRMED that there were 'secret CIA flights' out of their control.

The foreign minister also said he would raise the issue of clandestine stopovers at European airports by CIA planes allegedly carrying terror suspects to secret prison camps while in Washington. It is a subject that Steinmeier will almost certainly direct at White House national security adviser Stephen Hadley when the two meet later on Tuesday and one which is likely to become more sensitive as EU investigations into the flights intensify.

Mike - "On the other hand Turkey, the Netherlands and Finland CONFIRMED that there were 'secret CIA flights' out of their control."

LOL! That, by itself, means nothing and you know it! Silly man.
